IMPORTANT NOTICE: FBGratings Fans and Guests,
We are announcing the start of big changes at the FBGratings website that will now allow for Madden's Next Generation of ratings to be accessible online. The present plan is to get the site in the correct format followed by adding in the new overall ratings for the NFL's 14000+ players.

I will begin editing the new overall ratings once this new format is achieved. This will be followed by the addition of new, updated, individual attributes. The primary goal is to make the site Next Generation compatible and fully updated by Opening Weekend, 2009. I hope you all enjoy the updates. Please feel free to contact me personally with any questions, comments, and/or concerns.

 Recent Players News & Notes

Feb 5 2012 - Chad Ochocinco (Patriots), WR Chad Ochocinco is active for the Patriots for Super Bowl XLVI.

Feb 5 2012 - Rob Gronkowski (Patriots), TE Rob Gronkowski is officially active for Super Bowl XLVI, and coach Bill Belichick said he will "definitely" play, according to the NFL Network's Alex Flanagan.
Gronkowski, who suffered a high left ankle sprain in the AFC Championship Game two weeks ago, returned to limited practice for the first time Thursday. He was walking without a noticeable limp at the Patriots' photo shoot at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday.

Feb 2 2012 - Rob Gronkowski (Patriots), TE Rob Gronkowski is expected to take part in limited practice Thursday and play in Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Gronkowski hasn't taken part in on-field work with the Patriots since suffering a left high ankle sprain against Baltimore in the AFC Championship Game.
"It's the Super Bowl. I'm doing everything I can possibly do to be out there," Gronkowski said Thursday morning. "I want to be out there no matter what. I want to help out the team. I am doing everything possible to be out there, and we'll just see on Sunday. I will try to go as much as possible."

Jan 31 2012 - Rob Gronkowski (Patriots), TE Rob Gronkowski arrived at Media Day minus his walking boot and confident he'll play Sunday despite his sprained ankle.
"Nah, that thing's done with," said Gronkowski, who shed the boot Monday.
Still, his status for Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday remains the hot topic even though Gronkowski said he's not overly worried about the ankle.
"I'm just going day by day, every single day, just working with the training staff, and whatever the training staff wants me to do, that's what I'm doing," Gronkowski said. "I'm making new steps every day, and I'm feeling better every day. That's a positive sign. You just want to keep going in a positive direction, and I want to be out there with the team, obviously. I want to help out the team, obviously."

Jan 26 2012 - Rob Gronkowski (Patriots), TE Rob Gronkowski was not present at Thursday's practice. Gronkowski suffered an ankle injury in the AFC Championship Game against Baltimore, but figures to play next weekend in Super Bowl XLVI.

Jan 23 2012 - Peyton Manning (Colts), QB Peyton Manning, if healthy and available, is at the top of the Dolphins' offseason wish list, according to a report in the Miami Herald on Monday.
Manning missed the entire 2011 regular season after undergoing neck surgery in September. He could become a free agent if the Colts choose not to exercise a $28 million roster bonus due on March 8. Indianapolis owns the No. 1 pick in April's draft, which is a virtual certainty to be Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck.
Other reported options for Miami include Packers backup quarterback and future unrestricted free agent Matt Flynn, or a possible trade in the draft to move up and select Baylor Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III.

Jan 23 2012 - Brandon Moore (Jets), RG Brandon Moore was added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster as a replacement for the Patriots' Brian Waters, who will play in the Super Bowl.
Moore, who was the second alternate for the AFC team, will make his first Pro Bowl appearance.

Jan 23 2012 - Brandon Moore (Jets), Jets right guard Brandon Moore was added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster as a replacement for the Patriots' Brian Waters, who will play in the Super Bowl.
Moore, who was the second alternate for the AFC team, will make his first Pro Bowl appearance
