IMPORTANT NOTICE: FBGratings Fans and Guests, We are announcing the start of big changes at the FBGratings website that will now allow for Madden's Next Generation of ratings to be accessible online. The present plan is to get the site in the correct format followed by adding in the new overall ratings for the NFL's 14000+ players.
I will begin editing the new overall ratings once this new format is achieved. This will be followed by the addition of new, updated, individual attributes. The primary goal is to make the site Next Generation compatible and fully updated by Opening Weekend, 2009. I hope you all enjoy the updates. Please feel free to contact me personally with any questions, comments, and/or concerns.

Recent Players News & Notes
Mar 8 2010 - Darren Sharper (Saints), FS Darren Sharper said he had arthroscopic surgery on his knee, according to the Associated Press. Sharper is currently an unrestricted free agent, and missed two regular-season games with knee swelling last season.
Mar 8 2010 - Terrell Owens (Bills), WR Terrell Owens is expected to visit with the Bengals on Tuesday, the same day as Antonio Bryant, according to ESPN.
Mar 8 2010 - Michael Vick (Eagles), QB Mike Vick was not traded or released by the 4 p.m. EST deadline, meaning the Eagles chose to pay him a $1.5 million roster bonus due Monday.
Vick believes he can be a starting quarterback again after not having been one since 2006. Obviously, the question is whether other NFL teams believe he can, and whether he is worth the financial, draft-pick and time investment a team would need to make that decision.
The financial part goes beyond the $3.75 million base salary in Vick's contract for 2010. Once that roster bonus is paid, $1 million of his salary becomes guaranteed.
In addition, there are $2.75 million in incentives that become very reachable if Vick is a team's starting quarterback. Thus, if a team were to give up a draft pick today for Vick, they would be taking on a potential $8 million investment, $6.5 million after the bonus payment. If he were to be traded at this point, the new team could agree to pay the bonus.
Mar 8 2010 - Greg Ellis (Free Agent), DE Greg Ellis has been waived by the Raiders, according to ESPN. Ellis had seven sacks and was a steadying presence in the locker room last season.
Mar 8 2010 - Fred Robbins (Rams), DT Fred Robbins has signed a three-year deal with St. Louis. It could be worth as much as $12 million with incentives, according to a report by ESPN. Robbins struggled to recapture that quick first step he had prior to knee surgery during the 2009 off-season.
Mar 8 2010 - Ryan Lilja (Free Agent), LG Ryan Lilja, who was due a $1.73 million roster bonus this month, has been released by the Colts, according to FOXSports.com. Lilja, 28, started every game last season, but the offensive line play during the Super Bowl XLIV loss was criticized heavily by team president Bill Polian.
Mar 8 2010 - Antonio Bryant (Buccaneers), WR Antonio Bryant is expected to visit with the Bengals, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Bryant is a free agent after not being franchised by Tampa Bay.
Mar 8 2010 - Chris Chambers (Chiefs), WR Chris Chambers has returned to Kansas City with a three-year deal that can be worth up to $15 million and includes $5.9 million in guaranteed money, according to ESPN.
