 PLAYER NOTES:

Aug 12 2015 - DT Kyle Williams suffered a quad bruise on Monday and hasn't practiced since. He probably won't play in the preseason opener Friday against Carolina.

Aug 10 2015 - DT Kyle Williams suffered a bruised quad Monday and will probably be held out of practice the rest of the week

Mar 14 2015 - DT Kyle Williams agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension with the Bills Friday (March 13) that takes him through the 2017 seasons. The deal reportedly is for $10.5 million. Williams, 31, is set to make $4.8 million next season and $7 million in 2016. The 31-year-old Williams, a four-time Pro Bowler (2010, 2012, 2013, 2014), is the longest tenured Bill and will enter his 10th season with the team. In 2014, Williams played in 15 games for the Bills while racking up 41 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 15 quarterback hits and eight tackles for loss. He has tallied 34.5 sacks in his career -- the most by any defensive tackle in team history. A 6-foot-1, 303-pound LSU product, Williams originally entered the NFL in 2006 as a fifth-round pick (134th overall) by the Bills.

Oct 27 2014 - DT Kyle Williams overcame a back injury to record 1.5 sacks and made two tackles.

Oct 6 2014 - DT Kyle Williams was inactive against the Lions due to a knee injury, so Stefan Charles started in his place. Williams could miss at least a couple more games.

 INJURY REPORT:

Aug 12 2015 - DT Kyle Williams suffered a quad bruise on Monday and hasn't practiced since. He probably won't play in the preseason opener Friday against Carolina.

Aug 10 2015 - DT Kyle Williams suffered a bruised quad Monday and will probably be held out of practice the rest of the week

Oct 1 2014 - DT Kyle Williams did not practice Wednesday due to a knee injury, and it's looking like he could be out

Sep 29 2014 - DT Kyle Williams went down with a knee injury in the third quarter and did not play again. This would be a tremendous blow to the Buffalo defense if he missed time, short or long-term. He's the heart and soul of that unit.

Sep 28 2014 - DT Kyle Williams was lost to a knee injury in the second half after his pass deflection led to an interception by LB Nigel Bradham on the first play of the second half. Williams finished with two tackles, including one for lost yardage and has 11 tackles (three TFLs) on the season. "When you lose a player during that time of the game it's always difficult," Bills coach Doug Marrone said.
