Sep 1 2010 - WR Braylon Edwards' contract expires at the end of the season. He believes he is poised for a breakout campaign after having a whole offseason, spring and summer to immerse himself in the offense. He had to learn everything on the fly last season after being acquired in October.
Jun 28 2010 - WR Braylon Edwards will not be suspended by the NFL for a no contest plea to a misdemeanor assault charge, according to ESPNNewYork.com.
Edwards pleaded no contest in January following an incident outside a Cleveland nightclub. He reportedly punched an acquaintance of Cleveland Cavaliers F LeBron James, but Edwards is expected to be fined rather than suspended.

Oct 21 2009 - WR Braylon Edwards was limited in practice Wednesday because of a problem with his quadriceps. Coach Rex Ryan said the injury happened during the Buffalo game. Edwards is expected to play Sunday.
Aug 12 2009 - WR Braylon Edwards left Wednesday's practice after aggravating his foot injury. Coach Eric Mangini wasn't available after practice to discuss the extent of the injury, but Edwards did sit out the first four days of training camp with an undisclosed injury reportedly linked to the foot.
Aug 9 2009 - WR Braylon Edwards is back on the field after missing the first six practices of training camp with an undisclosed injury. Reportedly he hurt an ankle in June playing basketball, but the Browns will not confirm that.
About an hour into the first practice for Edwards, Derek Anderson lobbed a pass into the back left corner of the end zone. Gerard Lawson had tight coverage on Edwards, but Edwards turned, jumped and plucked the pass off the top of Lawson's helmet for a touchdown. He made it look easy, gave the ball a little spike and then trotted back to the sideline.
"That play kind of reminds me why I'm here," Edwards said. "It feels good to be back out there. It's one thing to watch on the sideline. It's another to actually participate."
