Player Ratings Last Updated:

PLEASE NOTE: Updates coming soon.

 PLAYER NOTES:

Jul 22 2010 - WR Julian Edelman converted from college quarterback to catch 37 balls as a Wes Welker fill-in as a rookie. He should only improve as another underneath option.

Jun 24 2010 - WR Julian Edelman looks very comfortable in the offense and could emerge as a key contributor in 2010, regardless of Wes Welker's status.

Jan 14 2010 - WR Julian Edelman, a rookie converted quarterback, caught 37 passes, and the bulk of that production came when he filled in for Wes Welker in the No. 2 slot.

Jan 10 2010 - WR Julian Edelman started Sunday in place of Wes Welker (knee, IR), earning his fifth straight start to close out his rookie season. The seventh-round pick and converted college quarterback's playoff debut saw him become the first Patriot to score two touchdowns, on receptions of 6 yards and 1 yard.

Jan 6 2010 - WR Julian Edelman likely will be the focal point of Baltimore's game plan with Wes Welker out. Edelman had a career day against Houston in Week 17 and shares many of the same traits as Welker, minus the experience.

 INJURY REPORT:

Nov 12 2009 - WR Julian Edelman missed Thursday's practice with a lingering forearm injury that has sidelined him since the beginning of November. There's little chance he'll be ready for Sunday's game.

Nov 8 2009 - WR Julian Edelman (forearm) was inactive Sunday against the Dolphins.

Nov 5 2009 - WR Julian Edelman missed Thursday's practice with a forearm injury and will likely sit out Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Nov 4 2009 - WR Julian Edelman (broken arm) was not on the field during media availability at practice Wednesday, which is not a good sign. Don't expect to see him on the field Sunday, either.

Oct 28 2009 - WR Julian Edelman (broken arm) will get a chance to heal this week and could be back in the lineup within the next two games, though it's unclear whether he's made any significant progress.
