Aug 29 2010 - LB Moise Fokou is in jeopardy of not making the team. Fokou opened camp as the starting strong-side linebacker, but was replaced by Akeem Jordan. The Eagles have been giving him some work at defensive end.
Dec 24 2009 - LB Moise Fokou is expected to start at strong-side linebacker Sunday against the Broncos. The rookie will replace struggling Chris Gocong, who has been benched.
Nov 12 2009 - LB Moise Fokou or second-year man Joe Mays may start Sunday against the Chargers if WLB Akeem Jordan is unable to play.
In the Eagles' base defense, defensive coordinator Sean McDermott is expected to slide MLB Will Witherspoon over to Jordan's weak-side spot. SLB Chris Gocong, who missed last week's game with a hamstring injury, would move into the middle, and the rookie Fokou or Mays
would replace Gocong at SAM.
Nov 9 2009 - LB Moise Fokou, who had a tough day against the Cowboys. He committed two costly penalties that negated a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Ellis Hobbs and wiped out a long return after an interception by cornerback Sheldon Brown.
Nov 6 2009 - LB Moise Fokou, a seventh-round rookie, will make the first start of his career Sunday if strong-side linebacker Chris Gocong is unable to play. Gocong is nursing hamstring and quad injuries and is listed as doubtful. "He's alright. He'll be ready," said coach Andy Reid. "He's been working hard at that. Even when Chris was healthy he would go in and take reps during practice so he stayed on top of things. He'll be okay."
