PLAYER NOTES:
Sep 9 2010 - C Jamaal Jackson will be monitored closely by coach Andy Reid and the Eagles' training staff Sunday. Jackson, who is just eight months removed from ACL surgery, will start against the Packers, but didn't play at all in the preseason. His endurance is a major concern.
Sep 8 2010 - C Jamaal Jackson said his surgically-repaired knee is healthy enough to withstand physical contact. He said his biggest concern Sunday will be his endurance. He didn't play in any of the Eagles' preseason games.
Sep 6 2010 - C Jamaal Jackson practiced Sunday and said he is "99.9 percent sure" he'll play this week against Green Bay. Jackson, who is coming off ACL surgery, didn't play in any of the Eagles' preseason games.
Aug 31 2010 - C Jamaal Jackson pushed himself in practice Monday and was said to be feeling fine Tuesday, which is a good sign he'll be ready for the regular-season opener. Jackson is recovering from offseason ACL surgery.
"Yesterday, [his knee] felt good," coach Andy Reid said. "Today's an important day. It didn't swell. It's not sore, so he's feeling pretty good. He's sore, from his body from being hit so much yesterday, but the actual knee is well, and he feels strong so it's a positive thing."
Aug 25 2010 - C Jamaal Jackson (January ACL surgery) has started practicing on a limited basis, but it's still unclear whether he'll be ready for the season-opener. "It was taking a little bit of time, you know, just adjusting to the speed and the tempo," Jackson said of practicing with the starters Wednesday. "After that, like you said, it's like riding a bike. Hopefully I can get out there and not have any major rust and just try to play football."

Jul 26 2010 - C Jamaal Jackson is supposedly ahead of schedule in his ACL rehab, but he isn't expected to participate in training camp or see any action in the preseason. He will open camp on the PUP list.
"Right now, coming in I would say that," coach Andy Reid said when asked if Jackson will be ready for the start of the season. "However, I think he's doing very well. I think time is important. I think Rick having him up here and really putting him through a little more strenuous exercise will be important. Although I will tell you he's in great shape. His leg is feeling good, it's just that it happened not too long ago here. We'll see how it goes."
